A 'Fala' is a woven mat, it has many uses in the Samoan culture.
Growing up I would see them in all my uncles and aunties homes. I was always fascinated by the time it would have taken to create one Fala. It was a functional piece of Art and design that served a purpose.
The 'Fala Samoa' is my purpose, to preserve my culture, but to create a new fascination for the young.
